What are some unordinary/unconventional animals you've eaten?

Only squid and quail, although I know someone who has had alligator (fishy-chicken flavor; why does everything odd taste like chicken?). Ostrich is pretty good, if I'm remembering correctly, shark is too tough. (chewy like swordfish; I didn't like either) Squid is better than octopus. Anyone had snake before? I've seen them in stores, but never had any.
