Evangelicals: If gays bother you so much, why don't you just not think about them.?

As a gay man, I've dealt with opposition from very religious people, but I don't hold it against them; I have to respect their right to believe that my lifestyle isn't "kosher" or whatever, as much as I would want them to respect my right to be who I am. Do unto others, as the saying goes...
