How to get rid of the b through the walls?

I live on the 4th floor in my apartment building and it is on the same side as the boiler room. So when it kicks in real heavy it puts a b sound through my walls and that travels right through everything and even when I lay my head on my pillow to go to sleep. Ear plugs don't help b, it travels right through it. Are there any suggestions to soundproof my bedroom?
