According to the Christian faith, is it sinners or nonbelievers&sinners that go to hell?

sinners dont go to hell unless they dont believe in God. all non believers, no matter how good of people they are, dont go to heaven (according to Catholicism). The pope has said that all catholics and protestants go to heaven but jews and muslims may or may not because they dont say jesus is the messiah, which may also be necessary to get into heaven
