The new-found focus on Afghanistan?

Recently I have noticed the media shift its focus from a drastically improved Iraq to Afghanistan. I think the succes in Iraq proves that Bush was right all along, and statements made about how the war in Iraq was already lost (cough Harry Reid cough) now seem foolish. I think that the media is trying to turn the attention from an Iraqi success to an admittly rough Afghanistan. I guess what im trying to say is, where are the Iraq success stories? (there have been a few, not many) What are your thoughts?
