American Idol- Paula Adbul Question?

Ok, was she really ever singing, even back in the day? No, she was the equivalent to Britney Spears but a little older. Yes, the songs she made were good I remember singing them all the time-but I have never heard anybody say "oooh, Paula Abdul sure can sing!". She's a mediocre singer. I also thought the performance sucked. Yes it sounded like auto tune in the song.
